Commercial Activities in Battery Park City - Parks
If you are an organization and wish to conduct group activities such as an exercising class, field day or other activity in the Robert F. Wagner Park, or the Nelson A. Rockefeller Park, please visit us at www.bpca.ny.gov and fill out a "permit" application (special event) and email to email@example.com.
Please note: Walks/Runs through Battery Park City typically go through space that is under the Authority of Brookfield Properties that is, the "Brookfield Place Lower Plaza" which roughly is parallel to the eastern side of the North Marina. Permit Applicants are advised to contact Grace Lee at firstname.lastname@example.org for permission as well.
Although the names are similar, Historic Battery Park is part of the NYC Department of Parks & Recreation system and not affiliated with Battery Park City. Major construction is taking place in Historic Battery Park this year. Organizations accustomed to using location there walks and runs should consider location other than Battery City in the interim as its smaller size may not be sufficient or available by large scale events.
